Directors welcome
It is a real pleasure to welcome you to the launch of Fermanagh Youth Choir. This choir was born out of a vision—to create a space where young voices from all walks of life can come together, learn, grow, and make music that uplifts and unites.
I’m so grateful you’ve joined us today to be part of this beginning. Your support means the world to me and to the young people who are finding their voice here. We look forward to sharing our journey with you as we grow in harmony—both musically and as a community.
Choir Accompanist - Odhran Martin
Odhran had worked with Fermanagh School of Music and Performing Arts for over a year as a Piano tutor and Choir accompanist for their vocal groups.
Odhran also accompanies his local community choir in Derrylin.
Odhran has studied music for a long number of years and his talent is becoming more and more recognised within Fermanagh.
I’m Alison, Child Protection Officer for Fermanagh Youth Choir. I’ve spent over a decade working as a music teacher, including several years teaching in the Middle East and Far East and now I’m lucky to call Northern Ireland home. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and I love working with young people, helping them grow in confidence and creativity through singing and performance. In my role as Child Protection Officer, I’m here to make sure every member feels safe, supported, and able to enjoy making music together. If you ever have any concerns or just need a friendly chat, I’m always happy to help.
